Consultative Approach. Unlike many of our competitors in both the bank and corporate marketplaces, our business approach is consultative rather than sales-oriented. Our goal is to help clients implement the most effective programs possible for attracting, retaining and rewarding key executive talent from both a design and financing standpoint. A significant number of individuals in our organization have employee benefits backgrounds with such well-known consulting firms as Hewitt Associates, Mercer, KPMG and Deloitte & Touche. A large number of our staff also have experience in accounting, actuarial science, law and finance-all required disciplines for designing, implementing and financing effective employee benefits and compensation programs.
Long-Term Commitment to Clients and Ongoing Service. We have always believed that the best way to build and maintain a successful, ongoing business concern is through the development of long-term relationships. We achieve this objective by providing ongoing high-quality administration and consulting services. An administrative staff of 22 individuals in our Client Administration and Actuarial departments reflects our commitment in this area. Our Client Administration department members have an average tenure of 11 years with M Benefit Solutions, an almost unheard of level in this industry. This emphasis on administration has resulted in an extremely high client retention rate. We have numerous clients (including Fortune 1000 clients) who have been with us for over 20 years.
Depth, Caliber and Continuity of Staff. Our depth, experience, and continuity are not limited to our Client Administration department. Ongoing support is provided to Client Administration by our Actuarial department (seven professionals averaging eight years of experience with M Benefit Solutions) and by our Consultants (Senior Vice Presidents and Consulting Services department professionals averaging eight years with M Benefit Solutions and 22 years of related professional experience). M Benefit Solutions' three Managing Directors have an average of 11 years of experience with our firm and 18 years of related professional experience. Members of other departments such as Accounting, Publications, Systems, and Office Services provide additional client support services.
Exceptional Information Systems. An IT staff of four people designs, develops, and supports our administration system, as well as a large database that tracks census and insurance information. The average tenure of this group is three years, ensuring a thorough understanding of the business necessary when developing support and administrative systems that meet the industry's unique and complex needs.
